2022
1st big Snowfall of 2022.
Damn covid ever present still.
Vaccines lifted the travelling quarantine so UK-US travel finally happened late last year.
I went there, a few came here. It was fleeting but wonderful, after too long apart.
Now the winter snow is here, so we’ll bide our time until spring or summer.
Maybe 2022 will see us all together again then. I hope so.
Until then, here’s a pretty photo of snow out of my window today and from a window 5 years ago.
And a few pond hopping (both ways) portraits – to hold us until the next time.

Your next photo book?
#ICPConcerned: Global Images for Global Crisis. This book presents images made by hundreds of photographers across the world in 2020, showing daily life in the midst of the global pandemic, autocratic regimes, and deep political unrest. (And my project ‘phase 4’ – is included!) The book is available for order from icp.org
