Frames and Exhibitions!

March 16, 2017

Justine Witley of Justine Bijoux
(Check out Justine’s art – Justine’s Facebook page )
Nominated me to post a photograph everyday for 7 days starting today.
I’m currently trying to raise money for my upcoming exhibition in Barnsley, UK,
so I thought I might be able to do both at the same time!
I am going to show you photographs that I have exhibited.
They are all professionally mounted in frames with hanging wire
& currently living in a dark, unloved space!
They are looking for a new home, so if you know of one, make me an offer!
I’ll hand deliver in Manhattan, Berkshire UK or if you can wait Barnsley!
I’ll add to this post everyday of the next week, so check back or check in with Facebook

Alternate Reality

Things are getting weird
Politics
The street
It’s like a bizarre dream
A bubble bursting

alternate facts
what we know disregarded
“deconstruction of the administrative state”
but only as it affects the ‘people’ not the people in ‘power’

Public city streets inaccessible to the public

Privately owned public space
a perk for the developer
in Trump Tower 20 extra floors allowed past the zoning regulations
in exchange for a place for the public to sit
indoors
and 2 outdoor terraces on the 4th and 5th floors
now the tax payer is paying to protect it
from ourselves
whilst being denied the use of it

Don’t be intimidated
it is yours to use

Resist

ˈfōtō ˈfôrtˌnīt frīdē

January 30, 2017

I’ve been a bit lax at posting- I’ve been sick and I’ve been marching!
So here are the last 2 fōtō ˈfôrtˌnīt frīdē photos for January.

The first fōtō ˈfôrtˌnīt frīdē…

would have been a more impressive photo from the bridge looking down, onto 42nd Street at Grand Central but..

As an aside the bridge seen here is featured in a very different photograph of mine that will be hanging at Jadite Gallery, 413 W 50th St. NYC – I’ll be at the opening on Thursday February 2nd why not stop by and say Hi!
